Worshipped as a god by the Geth Heretics (which it finds insulting, yet allows to continue to use the Geth as tools) It indoctrinates Saren Arterius and Matriarch Benezia, using them to find "The Conduit", a proto Mass Relay developed by the Protheans which directly accesses the Citadel. Sovereign is a member of an ancient race of sentient starships called the Reapers, who assimilate all advanced organic life in the galaxy every 50,000 years.
It is voiced by Peter Jessop, who also voiced Tharok in Justice League vs. Sovereign, first known as Nazara to the Geth, is the main antagonist of Mass Effect and the overarching antagonist of Mass Effect: Revelation.
